Director’s Message
I wanted to highlight the array of worthwhile academic, professional and EMTM Community activities that are coming up:
- On November 13, a workshop on Interviewing Tips will be held to conclude the 2009-2010 Career Series. This event is targeted for those who attended last year’s Career Series. Dates for the 2011 Career Series are available online.
- Our next ETS speaker will be Ian MacMillan, the Wharton School’s Dhirubhai Ambani Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, on December 3. Mac’s presentation “Planning under Uncertain Conditions: Discovery Driven Planning” is on target for individual entrepreneurs as well as those involved with corporate venturing.
- A reminder to Alumni if interested, you can register for a second-term course now; the term begins on December 3.
- Keep your eyes open for upcoming workshops. The next event is Project/Portfolio Management-I with Rick Bayney on December 11-12.
- The EMTM Holiday Party will be held on Friday evening, December 17. Start thinking about whom you would like to invite to join in the celebration. The night includes cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dancing. It’s a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season.
- The next Open Forum will be on January 8. This upcoming session will feature an alumni panel of entrepreneurs. Learn from the experiences of fellow EMTMers.
